WARNING: THE VOICE SEASON 3 SPOILERS AHEAD!

This post contains The Voice spoilers from round two of the season two live playoffs. Please stop reading here if you do not want to know what happened!

The schedule for The Voice season 3 this week is a bit screwy because of the presidential election on Tuesday night. The first part of the live playoffs aired on Monday, with the second part airing on Wednesday night. Then, on Thursday, we will have a special The Voice elimination results show. On the elimination show, the top 12 finalists will be revealed according to America’s votes and the judges’ choices. (Two per team will be chosen by voters, 1 by the team coach.)

Going into the second round of The Voice 2012 playoffs tonight, the competition will no doubt be fierce and hopefully we’ll see  some truly fabulous performances tonight. Both Team Cee Lo Green and Team Christina Aguilera have strong singers on board and either team could very well contain The Voice season 3 winner. Personally, I am especially looking forward to seeing Trevin Hunte, Nicholas David, De’Borah and Adriana Louise perform tonight.

Also on The Voice season 3 elimination results show on Thursday night, the coaches will take the stage to perform live from the House of Blues in West Hollywood, CA. The Voice 2012 top 12 will also perform again for viewers as we wait impatiently to find out who was eliminated on The Voice this week. Fans can tune in to a live audio stream of the House of Blues performances with the Hits Live channel on iHeartRadio, Clear Channel’s free, digital radio service on the web and on the iHeartRadio app available on mobile devices and tablets. On The Voice season 3 tonight, the two featured teams in this round of the playoffs will be Team Cee Lo Green and Team Christina Aguilera. Each of their respective five remaining team members will perform live during the two-hour show.

RECAP: Starting The Voice playoffs part 2 show tonight, Team Cee Lo Green and Team Christina Aguilera take the stage together for a performance of “Sing” by My Chemical Romance.

Now it is time for the live solo performances!

Adriana Louise – “Firework” by Katy Perry

Judges: Adam says it was a really incredible job considering how this song is such a “total bitch” to sing. Christina says her consistency was amazing, including both the low and the high ends. She notes the song is really hard to sing. She says Adriana is also really sweet and genuine. The praise is not over the top, the judges seem to lean on how difficult the song is to excuse a good, but not really wow performance.

Cody Below – “One More Try” by George Michael

Judges: Adam says the performance was “brilliant” and he is a believer. Blake says both he and wife Miranda Lambert really love this guy. Cee Lo says Cody is a mature performer and did a great job. Blake thinks it was his best performance this season. All the judges seem to be loving on this performance a lot.

De’Borah – “Who Knew” by Pink

Judges: Cee Lo says he loves the way she moves with her hip-hop swagger. He says he can feel her confidence and her pain; she is just very compelling. Adam says she was just incredible and there is only one De’Borah. He loves her. Blake says her singing is just unbelievable. Christina says she loves her and De’Borah has a piece of her heart. She is just so real and raw. No one can do what she does on the stage with so much energy. She is the real deal and has great passion and heart.

Diego Val – “Bailamos” by Enrique Iglesias

Judges: Host Carson Daly calls Diego the “Peruvian Magic Mike”, which is pretty accurate considering how everyone screams for him. The praise from the judges tonight, however, is not overwhelming. Cee Lo says it was just not his best performance, but it wasn’t bad. Christina didn’t think it was the right song choice. All the judges are pretty much on the same wave that he was good, just not great.

Mackenzie Bourg – “What Makes You Beautiful” by One Direction

Judges: Cee Lo says he really did a great job, but he’d like to see more energy from him on stage. Adam says he is right out of the ’50s and compares him to Buddy Holly. The judges all seem to think he needs to step out of his box though and try something riskier.

Devyn DeLoera – “Bleeding Love” by Leona Lewis

Judges: The judges didn’t give Devyn huge love for this performance with her ‘soft’ vocals. Overall probably the worst performance of the night if you go by the reaction of the judges.

Nicholas David – “You’re the First, the Last, My Everything” by Barry White

Judges: Adam says, in reference to the “baby-making music” of Barry White, that he kind of wants to make a baby right now. He says that means Nicholas has done his job. Cee Lo says he is timeless.

Sylvia Yacoub – “The One Who Got Away” b;y Katy Perry

Judges: All the judges are liking this performance a lot. Christina says she is a tried and true artist and they are much like each other.

Dez Duron – “Wanted”

Judges: Christina calls him the full package and is loving the performance. So do the other judges. Adam and Blake both enjoy how precise and flawless Dez is.

Trevin Hunte – “How Am I Supposed to Live Without You” by Michael Bolton

Judges: Christina wants Cee Lo to push Trevin even harder, even though he is obviously great. He is just maybe not as spectacularly great as he could be. Other than that, Trevin is the bomb and everyone agrees on that.
