WARNING: THE X FACTOR 2012 SPOILERS AHEAD!

This post contains spoilers from The X Factor 2012 season 2, episode 10. Please stop reading if you do not want to know what happened!

Last night on The X Factor 2012 season 2, the contestants in the groups and young adult categories battled it out with (mostly) fabulous performances for judges Demi Lovato and Simon Cowell, assisted by guest mentors Nick Jonas and Marc Anthony. Tonight the Judges’ Homes’ round continues as the spotlight turns to the teens and the over-25 groups.

The first team up tonight is the over-25 group performing for L. A. Reid, guest mentor Justin Bieber and his manager, Scooter Braun. I don’t get why Justin Bieber’s manager had to be present. Did Nick Jonas need to have his manager on hand? No, but apparently Bieber did.

I am amused that Justin Bieber has been all over the press today whining about how The X Factor season 2 just used him for ratings. Duh? Why did you think they had you on? You really thought it was because of your massive years of experience in mentoring singers? Um, no… this whole ‘mentors’ thing is just about ratings people.

L. A. Reid was not at all happy when he was handed the over-25 group and he even told them he didn’t want them because he thought they weren’t worthy. In my opinion, L. A. Reid is an ass and needs slapping. Yes, the over 25 group has it much harder and it is far less likely any of them are going to win than any of the other groups. But did he have to be a total jerk and ruin their moment? Ugh.

Anyway, the poor over-25 group is now up to perform for their less than pleased ‘coach’ and ‘ratings boy’ Justin Bieber (+ stalker manager).

Team L. A. Reid:

Jason Brock

David Correy

Daryl Black

Tate Stevens

Tara Simon

The final category to perform is the teen group and they are up in front of Britney Spears and guest mentor Will.I.Am. I have to say, despite the fact that Britney Spears still has to have her father handling all her money and her fiance watching over her fragile state every second, she’s been an admirable and entertaining judge this season on The X Factor. She was a bit stiff with the contestants last night when they came to ‘her’ house (that is, the house she borrowed from someone else for the show), but she seems to be invested in the process of getting the best out of them.

Team Britney Spears:

Diamond White

James Tanner

Arin Ray

Beatrice Miller

Carley Rose Sonenclar

  1. Thank you for having a set of recap performance videos here! Because of the vice-president debate tonight, my tv provider had a news program labeled as the x factor and sad to say but it was news that got recorded and not my x factor! I was very upset to miss tonights program, but VERY HAPPY to find this site! A BIG THANK YOU!

  2. Out of the Over 25 group my favorite was definitely David Correy.
Every song he sings is soulful and from the heart. It’s like he reaches way
down and then pours everything out. I also really liked Tate Stevens: Justin is
right that he is charismatic and I do want to root for him. He’s down to earth
and really puts himself out there. People like this is the reason why I’ve got
my Hopper timers set to record the entire season of X Factor and with plenty of
recording space, I don’t have to rush through watching anything I’ve already
recorded. Out of the Teens group I really liked Diamond and Reed. They are so
charismatic and full of energy that it really shines through anything they
perform. My co-worker really likes Beatrice Miller because she can really
belt it out. She’s got a really big voice and she knows her abilities which
show when she performs. I’m just not sure that she is worth $5,000,000.
