The X Factor USA season 2 is back tonight for a special Thanksgiving elimination results episode. Two singers from The X Factor season 2 top 10 will be heading out the door this evening. While the odds seem to be leaning toward CeCe Frey, Paige Thomas or Arin Ray being among those who got sent home on The X Factor 2012 this week, the voters do love to surprise us with their choices from week to week. Who will survive to make The X Factor season 2 top 10? Who was voted off The X Factor USA this week? Join us for our live The X Factor recap here and find out the answers with us!

WARNING: THE X FACTOR 2012 SPOILERS AHEAD!

This post contains The X Factor USA spoilers for season 2, episode 20. Please stop reading if you do not want to know what happened and who went home on The X Factor 2012 season 2 this week!

The singers I think are absolutely guaranteed to be moving on to The X Factor USA top 8 this week seem pretty obvious. After her stunning, jaw-dropping performance last night, Carly Rose Sonenclar isn’t going anywhere–and may finally capture first place in the votes. Tate Stevens wasn’t as great this week, but his support is very strong, so he’ll be fine. Vino Alan and Diamond White rocked out last week and should be safe as well.

Of the groups, I think Fifth Harmony might fall down in the ranks, but won’t be voted out yet. Emblem3 might find themselves sliding a notch after a lackluster performance last night, but I think the ‘cute’ factor will save them again this week on The X Factor USA.

After giving what I thought was a terrific performance last night (although the judges weren’t totally happy), I do hope that Beatrice Miller will have risen in the votes this week and be safe. If she does somehow be one of the ones who went home on The X Factor 2012 season 2 this week, I will be highly annoyed.

After failing to deliver a much-needed spectacular performance last night, the odds on a lot of The X Factor USA fan site right now are on Paige Thomas going home tonight. For the second cut in The X Factor elimination result show this evening, it is looking like CeCe Frey or Arin Ray might be the other two contestants most in danger.

Here is the voter ranking of the top 10 finalists from last week:

1. Tate Stevens (Team L. A.)

2. Carly Rose Sonenclar (Team Britney)

3. Vino Alan (Team L. A.)

4. Emblem3 (Team Simon)

5. CeCe Frey (Team Demi)

6. Fifth Harmony (Team Simon)

7. Diamond White (Team Britney)

8. Beatrice Miller (Team Britney)

9. Arin Ray (Team Britney)

10. Paige Thomas (Team Demi)

Will someone knock Tate Stevens out of the first place slot in the votes this week? Who will go home on The X Factor USA 2012 this round? We’ll be right here with our live The X Factor recap of this week’s elimination results show at 8PM ET!

RECAP: The X Factor was delayed just a bit due to the end of the Cowboys and Redskins game, but is finally over and here we go!

We start off tonight with a mini-review of last night’s performances and I am wowed all over again by Carly Rose Sonenclar’s “Over the Rainbow”. That was just hot!

Awhh, here’s the cute Thanksgiving twist for the show tonight. The X Factor USA has gotten together with Best Buy to do a renovation of the Bancroft Middle School music studio in Los Angeles. Plus, the kids from the school choir get to join The X Factor season 2 top 10 on stage tonight. They also got new musical instruments. That’s just adorable and all that. I would think maybe their families might have preferred not having their kids dragged out to perform on Thanksgiving instead of another day, but whatever. It is nice they got all the nice stuff for their music program. Although surely considering how much this show makes, they could have done the music rooms for ten schools. Or 100. Or even a 1000…

The top 10 singers and the Bancroft Middle School Choir perform “Fix You” by Coldplay.

Moving right along at light speed tonight (probably because of that football delay), we have our first The X Factor USA elimination results for the night!

The first contestant who went home on The X Factor season 2 this evening thanks to the voters is… Arin Ray! Not a big surprise after his performance last night and his voter ranking last week. Arin Ray had the lowest number of votes this time around. Britney Spears tells Arin he should take this as a learning experience. So should the producers of The X Factor, who saddled this poor guy with a mentor who couldn’t have picked the right song for him if it slammed her in the head. She doesn’t even look like she really cares. She probably won’t even remember his name tomorrow.

Team Britney Spears is now down to three singers. Let’s hope she doesn’t lose anyone else tonight because Carly Rose Sonenclar, Diamond White and Beatrice Miller all deserve to make it through to The X Factor top 8.

Now we have a guest performance to draw out the time until we can get the next results. This time it is British star Cher Lloyd taking the stage with a performance of “Oath” with Becky G.

Next tonight we’ll finally learn who else will go through to The X Factor season 2 top 8 and which two singers will have to sing for their lives.

The acts that are safe and going through to the top 8 are:

Carly Rose Sonenclar
Diamond White
Vino Alan
Fifth Harmony
Tate Stevens
Emblem3
Paige Thomas

Wow, I am VERY sad to see Paige Thomas got enough votes to be safe and poor Beatrice Miller is stuck in a sing-off with CeCe Frey. I think America got that wrong. My opinion, but I think Beatrice is a better singer than Paige by a long shot.

CeCe Frey performs “Because of You” by Kelly Clarkson and it is off pitch and not a fabulous song choice for her at all. I think it was a major fail.

Beatrice Miller performs “White Flag” by Dido and I thought it wasn’t her best performance, but it was certainly better than CeCe’s.

The judges are voting now. Demi wants to send Beatrice Miller home. What? Britney, of course, votes against CeCe. L. A. votes against Beatrice! Simon Cowell also votes against Beatrice! Judges you suck.

Here are The X Factor USA season 2 top 8 remaining contestants, ranked by this week’s votes:

1. Carly Rose Sonenclar
2. Tate Stevens
3. Vino Alan
4. Emblem3
5. Diamond White
6. Paige Thomas
7. Fifth Harmony
8. CeCe Frey

Eliminated: Beatrice Miller & Arin Ray

Ugh. Time to go stuff myself with turkey and forget that really bad choice by the judges!

  1. What the hell is wrong with the judges!? Cece Frey CANNOT sing!!! She is consistently off tune. Enough of the poor pitiful Cece!! Beatrice you are way more talented. No contest! I’m done watching the Xfactor. They obviously do NOT know real talent and who deserves to be there. Give me some American Idol or The Voice!!!!!

  2. I think that it was a good choice tonight to send Arin and Beatris home they were not very good…there are others who are not good but those two where terrible last night…GO TATE, GO Diamond, GO Carly

  3. Seriously Cece sucks consistently, she sucks and sulks, not that great of a singer… Oh yeah, and bottom two, what twice?! Wtf!! She’s gotta be bangin one of the producers… Beatrice is truely so talented, and fierce… Isn’t that what the “x factor” is all about?? Dont know why I waste my time voting or even watching. Two bad calls by the judges two weeks in a row on their vote, the first to go has been pretty spot on. Disappointed

  4. I am so glad I missed the X-Factor tonight….WTF are the judges thinking, especially Simon….I cannot believe they chose CeCe over Beatrice. Obviously being Thanksgiving and hearing all the stories, CeCe got the sympathy vote. I’m sorry, I even cried at her story, however, this IS and ALWAYS will be a singing competition. She has not given a good performance in a while, and last night she was off pitch, not sure what they were hearing, I love Wind Beneath My Wings, but she didn’t hit the high notes “just right,” and the week before she was off pitch too, especially with her save me song. Obiviously the judges are NOT paying attention to America, once again, becuase Cece has been in the bottom two not once but twice. Unfortunately when they do things like this, the judges do not realize that it ends up coming back to bite them in the ass and it’s usually with another contestant that doesn’t deserve the rath. Hopefully CeCe will get sent home next week with no saves. This is getting so ridiculous, and I have no clue where the REAL Simon Cowell has gone off to, but apparently he’s left the building and all hope appears to be lost for the X-Factor.

  5. CeCe really?? So fake and pouty! Beatrice was awesome last night. Keep your chin Beatrice-someone will sign you!

  6. Cecey Frey have a talent problem is mentor Demi giving her wrong choice songs is not good to cecey….cecey must choice on her way

  7. Im disagree cecey have talent with whole packages.of course she can sing problem is her mentor giving her wrong choice song, she is very good in show down that real talent.

  8. So many American singer not good voice, horrible voice…..but the earn a furtune becouse beauty karisma

  9. Oh my the Xfactor totally sucks ass. Cece Frey should have gone home home a long time ago… It is sickening to watch these Judges…!

  10. Cece Frey is not oesn’t have that great in singing, sexy, but she doesn’t have the voice, sorry CECE but I think you’re going home.

  11. Beatrice should not have gone home, CECE DESERVES to go HOME, truly speaking, she’s not talented and she doesn’t belong on the XFactor Show…

  12. Can I just say that if the judges’ opinion is that Cece is a better singer and performer, and that America will love her more than Beatrice, then they are not qualified to be judges. REALLY?! Besides the fact that Cece is clearly a bitch, she cannot sing without being itchy all over the place! I’m done watching x factor, it has sorely disappointed me.
