Just in the time to steal a tiny bit of attention from the smash opening weekend of The Hunger Games movie, Summitt Entertainment has released a new The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 trailer. The final installment in the Twilight film series, Breaking Dawn: Part Two is expected to rake in insane numbers at the box office when it hits theaters on November 16.
In the new, 48-second Breaking Dawn: Part 2 movie trailer, Twilight fans can catch a few glimpses of Bella Swan (Kristin Stewart) in her new vampire form. Typical of Twilight trailers, this one never shows very much of the new vampire Bella at once — teasing viewers with little snatches of her vamped-up self and one long look at those scary, bright red, hungry vampire eyes.
The new vampire Bella may be faster, stronger and sparkly shiny, but one thing hasn’t changed — that voice. I was kind of hoping they might do a bit of audio enhancement of Kristin Stewart’s vocals to make her sound, well, less mundane. But no, vampire Kristen Stewart still sounds just like the same emo, depressive, plain Kristen Stewart — despite the narration of the movie trailer proclaiming: “After 18 years of being utterly ordinary, I finally found that I can shine.”
What do you think about the new Breaking Dawn: Part 2 trailer video? It’s a nice teaser, but personally I feel a wee bit disappointed. Perhaps it is the lack of any glimpse of Renesmee (Mackenzie Foy). Then again, it’s just a short little preview trailer, so hopefully the next one will have a bit more of an impact. Plus, I’m sure Summit Entertainment wants to save glimpses of Edward and Bella’s vampire hybrid baby to get more press out of a future Breaking Dawn: Part Two trailer video.
