We are sad to bring you the Dancing With the Stars 2013 results on who got voted off this week. We had a strong prediction on which couple would be the ones who went home on Dancing With the Stars tonight based on what happened last week. Naturally, because we were really sure who would be eliminated — we were totally wrong! Instead, unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to one of our favorite couples on season 17 this evening and we’re bummed.
After last week’s Hollywood dances, the four couples at the bottom of the leaderboard were Leah Remini and Tony Dovolani, Bill Engvall and Emma Slater, Jack Osbourne and Cheryl Burke, and Bill Engvall and Emma Slater. Frankly, we would have been sorry to see any of these great couples end up being the ones who got voted off Dancing With the Stars tonight.
We were quite sure one of these four couples WOULD be eliminated and we were leaning heavily toward it being Bill and Emma (or possibly Leah and Tony but we hoped not). Shockingly, however, it turned out that none of the couples in the bottom from last week’s leaderboard would end up being eliminated!
Our favorites always end up getting the boot for some reason or another. We really had no clue that one of the couples we just loved to watch this season would get voted off tonight until we saw them standing there in the bottom two at the end of the evening! When it finally came down to Leah Remini and Tony Dovolani versus Christina Milian and Mark Ballas as the last two pairs standing, we were very displeased because both couples are so fabulous.
However, we were sure that Christina and Mark — who had just scored the best dance of the night and we’ve just loved all season — would be safe. Alas, we were wrong and they were sent packing! We should just stop rooting for Amber Riley and Derek Hough right now or they’ll probably be the next ones out the door as victims of our curse!
We’ve just been big fans of Christina Milian and Mark Ballas right from the beginning of the season. No, they may not have been the absolute best dancers every week but we just always found them entertaining and tonight they were stellar. Christina and Mark really worked their butts off to do the absolute best they could together on the dance floor.
We really thought they would go much further in the competition. So did the live audience, apparently, since there were very loud boos all around when the results were announced! We’ll miss you Christina and Mark! Thanks for the valiant effort, we had a lot of fun watching!
