TV evangelist Pat Robertson climbed aboard the crazy train once again on Wednesday when he basically blamed the massive 7.0 Haiti earthquake on a Haitian “pact with the devil.” Let’s not forget, this is the same whack-job who linked Hurricane Katrina to abortion and the attack on 9/11 to “the gays” and “the feminists”.
“Something happened a long time ago in Haiti,” Robertson opined on the Christian Broadcasting Network’s 700 Club on Wednesday. “They got together and swore a pact to the Devil.”
“They said, ‘We will serve you if you get us free from the French.’ True story. And so, the Devil said, ‘OK, it’s a deal.’ And they kicked the French out,” he went on. “You know, the Haitians revolted and got themselves free. But ever since, they have been cursed by one thing after another,” Robertson said.
Robertson’s tasteless and seemingly insane comments on the Haitian earthquake have left no few people furious, including the Haitian ambassador, Raymond Joseph. He quite snarkily responded by saying “what pact the Haitians made with the Devil, has helped the United States become what it is.”
White House adviser Valerie Jarrett said on Good Morning America she was simply left “kind of speechless” by Robertson’s demented remarks. “That’s not the kind of attitude that expresses the spirit of the president or the American people, so I thought it was a pretty stunning comment to make.”
We just wonder when someone is finally going to gift Pat Robertson with a nice, snug straight-jacket and haul him off for a long (hopefully permanent) stay in crazy town.

Sorry, but what Pat Robertson said about Haiti making a pact with the devil is true. They have been big into voodoo & witch doctors. If you don’t turn to Jesus, there’s not much protection, if at all. America has been blessed because of the faith and prayers of our forefathers.
What a sorry piece of work this Robertson idiot. He is clearly the devil and blames victims. What a scum of a human “bean” and he is on a level of Hitler preaching genocide on behalf of a useless figment of a god figure. What a scourge on humanity, except Robertson may not be human or even have a heart or brain, the basic requirements for humanity. There is more humanity in the the thousands that are suffering than in Pat Robinson.
Montanagranny and Pat Robertson, you are both idiots. Earthquakes happen because of faults in the earth. They have nothing to do with voodoo, abortions, gays or gay marriage. Take a reality check. Haitians are suffering! Watch the videos of them pulling out bodies with no equipment, just their hands. Watch the regualr Haitians rescuing their brethrans. Where is your so-called Chrisitianity? Just because we have freedom of speech, that does not mean you can say any stupid, ridiculous made up thing you want. So, if you have no facts to back you up, SHUT UP!!!
