American Idol 2012 Predictions: Who Will Make The Final 4?

On American Idol 2012 last night, the remaining five contestants performed three times in an effort to win their way through to the next round. Who will get voted off American Idol 2012 this week? Will it be an easy pick everyone has been expecting for weeks? Or will the voters defy predictions again to put someone surprising in the bottom two?

Last week, it was not much of a shock when Elise Testone was eliminated after her long roller-coaster ride this season. Before that, however, voters twice went against the majority of the American Idol predictions for eliminations by first ranking Jessica Sanchez last one week, and Colton Ford the next. Sanchez got a save from the judges, but Colton Ford didn’t get that chance.

Although he has found himself slipping down in the ranks the past few weeks, Joshua continues to bring the judges to their feet with his powerful performances and he commands a strong and vocal fan base.

Despite being a favorite on American Idol 2012 to many viewers, some fan polls this week have placed Joshua Ledet in the bottom two this week. In fact, there is more than one poll out there that actually shows Joshua Ledet as the one most in danger of elimination this round. American Idol 2012 Top 5 Recap: Who Will Go Home? (VIDEOS)

Wednesday on American Idol 2012, the top 5 sang for their lives in hopes of making it to the top 4. With only a few weeks to go before the American Idol 2012 finals, every song choice counts and every performance could be their last.

For the American Idol 2012 top 5 performances on Wednesday night, the remaining contestants were first asked to perform a classic song from the 1960’s. Then they were tasked with selecting a British pop song from across the pond to perform.

American Idol 2012 Top 5: Skylar Laine ‘You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me’ (VIDEO)

American Idol 2012 top 5 country sweetheart Skylar Laine has an uphill battle to the winner’s circle this season, but her fans still believe. Although Skylar Laine is not heavily favored to win American Idol 2012 by most predictions out there, her fan base continues to grow rapidly.

This week on American Idol 2012, Skylar Laine is actually ranking quite high in some viewer polls, even coming in second to Jessica Sanchez in a few. Others have her ranked in third and a couple I have seen actually have her ranked in the bottom two with Hollie Cavanagh.

American Idol 2012 Top 5: Phillip Phillips (VIDEO)

American Idol 2012 top 5 contestant Phillip Phillips may be an oddball, but he is apparently a loveable one to make it all the way to this point in the competition. He may be quirky and unpredictable, but his fans keep voting week after week to keep him safe.

Besides Elise Testone, who was eliminated on American Idol 2012 last week, Phillip Phillips is perhaps the contestant with the most questionable and unpredictable song choices. Sometimes he seems to have it nailed to the wall, and sometimes you have to ask what the hell he was thinking. The judges are often totally astounded when he takes an unlikely song and rocks it out and then equally confused when a song should be perfect for him and it goes all wrong.

American Idol 2012 Top 5: Hollie Cavanagh ‘Bleeding Love’ (VIDEO)

American Idol 2012 top 5 hopeful Hollie Cavanagh may be the girl everyone keeps predicting will be the next to go home, but she keeps hanging every week thanks to her loyal fans. Despite constant negative criticism and naysayers at every turn, Hollie is just an arm’s reach away from the American Idol 2012 finals.

Although virtually no one in American Idol 2012 fandom seems to really expect Hollie Cavanagh to make it all the way to the final two, her fans have shown time and time again they won’t give in easily. Will this be the week Hollie just can’t quite squeak enough votes to keep her from getting voted off? Or will she surprise everyone yet again and make the American Idol 2012 top 4?

American Idol 2012 Top 5: Skylar Laine ‘Fortunate Son’ (VIDEO)

American Idol 2012 top 5 contestant Skylar Laine is a country star in the making for sure, but can she take home the grand prize this season to boost her claim to fame?

With the roaring success of previous American Idol country singers like Carrie Underwood and Kellie Pickler, I am betting Skylar Laine will have no problem having a great career following the show, but she would probably love to take home that fat American Idol 2012 winning title to help her along.
