Christopher Nolan is gearing up to start production on the third and final installment of his Batman series, and it looks like this one is going to be filmed in Pittsburgh. Â Nolan says he chose Pittsburgh because it had the architectural styles he was looking for, as well as a wide range of locations where he could film different types of scenes.
Pittsburgh mayor Luke Ravensthahl is said to be thrilled with the announcement, adding that there will be red carpet treatment for the cast and crew. Â If Ravensthahl is lucky, he might even get abuse shouted at him by Christian Bale, who knows.
