Donald Trump Endorsement Goes To Mitt Romney

Celebrity Apprentice star and financial magnate Donald Trump will be giving his endorsement to Mitt Romney in the Republican presidential race, according to sources in the GOP. The official Donald Trump endorsement of Mitt Romney will reportedly be announced on Thursday afternoon during an event at Trump’s hotel in Las Vegas.

Previous reports by the Associated Press and other news sources claimed Donald Trump would endorse Newt Gingrich. Now, however, the AP and other media outlets have changed their tune due to information allegedly leaked by three unnamed GOP officials. Trump has also reportedly stated he will have a ‘big announcement’ soon. A public schedule released by Romney’s campaign on Thursday, shows a 12:30 event scheduled in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Donald Trump presidential decision coming soon

Bazillionaire Donald Trump keeps saying that he’s toying with the idea of running for President in 2012, but if he does so he’d have to turn down a new season of Celebrity Apprentice.  He says he hasn’t had enough opportunity yet to weigh all the factors in his decision, but that either way, he’ll make his final choice before June.

Either way, it’s bound to be great entertainment – he doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of becoming president, but it’s always fun to see these entrepreneur types flattering themselves with election campaigns.  If he decides to stick with reality TV, then we’ll have who knows how many more seasons of Celebrity Apprentice to look forward to.

Bret Michaels Condition Still Serious, But Full Recovery Hopeful

Celebrity Apprentice star and former Poison frontman Bret Michaels is still in serious condition following a brain henmorrhage, but his doctors are hopeful of a full recovery. Dr. Joseph Zabramski, Michaels’ neurosurgeon, said the rocker has an astonishing will to live.

“Bret’s sheer will to live and fully recover is undeniable,” Dr. Joseph Zabramski said in a press statement. “He has an unbelievable fight in him and told me what kept him alive at the moment of the hemorrhage was that he ‘did not want his family to wake up and see him lying unconscious in the middle of the floor.'”

Dr. Zabramski said Bret Micheals’ “fight to stay conscious during the hemorrhage” helped doctors to stabilize his condition when he arrived at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, AZ.

While Bret Michaels’ condition has improved, Dr. Zabramski said the Celebrity Apprentice star still has a long road ahead to fully recover. “There is no doubt that Mr. Michaels’ condition is serious.” Testing will continue to try to determine the cause of the brain hemorrhage.

A press conference is scheduled for Tuesday by Michaels’ reps to “further explain his condition, treatment and prognosis.”

Bret Michaels Condition After Brain Hemorrhage Not Good Trump Says

Bret Michaels‘ condition following the massive brain hemorrhage that landed him in a hospital ICU is not good, Celebrity Apprentice host Donald Trump said on Monday. Michaels is a contestant on Celebrity Apprentice this season and Trump reportedly has an inside line on Michaels’ condition.

Donald Trump told TMZ.com on Monday that Bret Michaels’ condition is not good. Trump said the musician turned reality TV star is in “big, big trouble and the prognosis is not great.” Michaels remains in critical condition under 24 hour watch according to his tour manager, Janna Elias.

Trump said Bret Michaels has proven to be an “amazing competitor” on Celebrity Apprentice and his fighting spirit “ultimately [may be] the thing that could save his life.” Trump said he believes Michaels’ brain bleed could be related to an injury the former Poison front man suffered at the 63rd annual Tony Awards last June when he was hit in the head by a stage prop.

Doctors are still trying to pinpoint the source of bleeding in Bret Michaels’ brain and he is currently undergoing further testing. “As we all know Bret is a fighter and we are hopeful that once all is complete the slurred speech, blurred vision and dizziness, etc. will be eliminated and all functions will return to normal,” a note posted on Michaels’ website says.

Rod Blagojevich, Sharon Osbourne Compete on New Celebrity Apprentice

Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich is among the contestants named for the new season of Donald Trump‘s NBC reality show The Celebrity Apprentice. Blagojevich will be going up against the likes of Sharon Osbourne, Cyndi Lauper and Darryl Strawberry to compete to win money for a favorite charity.
Rod Blagojevich Rod Blagojevich

Rod Blagojevich was removed from office last year after allegedly trying to sell off President Barack Obama‘s former senate seat and committing various other acts of campaign fundraising abuse. Blagojevich has, naturally, denied any wrongdoing. His experience ‘manipulating’ funds in office will prove to be a great asset in the game. Except, oh yeah, he wasn’t good enough at it to not get caught. So maybe not.

A spokesman for Rod Blagojevich said in a press statement the former governor “continues to receive offers and opportunities — most of which he turns down because they are not the right fit.” In this case, however, Blagojevich reportedly accepted the offer to appear on Celebrity Apprentice to help out a worthy cause. “The former governor accepted because it offered him a chance to raise money for a favorite charity and the challenge to compete against celebrities in the popular NBC program hosted by Donald Trump,” his rep said.

Thefull roster of contestants for the new season of Celebrity Apprentice is: Rod Blagojevich, Sharon Osbourne, Cyndi Lauper, actress Holly Robinson Peete, model Selita Ebanks, WWE model Maria Kanellis, comedian Carol Leifer, Olympic swimmer Summer Sanders, former baseball star Darryl Strawberry, Bret Michaels, wrestler Bill Goldberg, Olympic sprinter Michael Johnson, Sinbad and chef Curtis Stone.

Hmmm, we’re calling this one either for Sharon Osbourne (because she’ll eat you alive) or Curtis Stone as the dark horse. Now we’ll just have to wait and see who wins and how much drama it will take to get there!

The new season premieres March 14.
