Jenelle Evans arrested for heroin and assault, ordered away from husband Cortland Rogers. Teen Mom Jenelle Evans was back in jail Tuesday following her latest arrest—for heroin possession and assault, although she was free to head home later the same day, after being released on bond. One thing that will immediately be different, by court orders, is she will not be running straight back into the arms of her bad boy hubby, Courtland Rogers, OKMagazine.com is reports.
Teen Mom 2 to be cancelled by MTV. According to the New York Post, the network plans to shut down production on the series, in part because of the bad publicity Evans generates. Her time in the spotlight has included arrests, rehab stints, and profanity-laced public feuds, as well as a loss of custody of her three-year-old son Jace.
In recent weeks, Evans married Courtland Rogers, allegedly became pregnant with his baby, accused him of domestic violence and threatened to divorce him. Last week, she appeared to insinuate on Twitter that she had a miscarriage. A rep for MTV says, ”No decision has been made yet regarding a fifth season of ‘Teen Mom 2,’ but the network is planning to air the fourth season this year and will announce the premiere date soon.”
Teen Mom 2 Jenelle Evans takes five assault charges against Courtland Rogers. Evans’ attorney, Dustin R.T. Sullivan, said in a statement that “she has taken charges out on Courtland Rogers, her husband. The charges are assault on a female with an unborn child. She made the charges today.”
Evans filed four counts of assault on a female with an unborn child in a Brunswick County, North Carolina, courthouse on Jan. 23. The charges are misdemeanors, Sullivan said. “They are the highest level of misdemeanor you can get,” Sullivan noted. “He faces a maximum 150 days in jail per charge.”
Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans was arrested again in North Carolina on Monday. According to the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office, 19-year-old Evans was arrested for violating her probation. The troubled teen, who recently underwent a stint in rehab, also reportedly tested positive for illegal substances.
Jenelle Evans was taken into custody around 6:50PM on Monday, according to a spokeswoman for the sheriff’s office. Police did not reveal exactly what the Teen Mom 2 star did to violate her probation. However, she reportedly tested positive for marijuana and opiates after a meeting with her parole officer.
Evans was briefly jailed at the Brunswick County Detention Center but quickly posted her $10,000 bond and was released around 9PM. She is due back in court on August 24 to deal with this latest arrest.
In March, Jenelle Evans was arrested for her part in a nasty brawl caught on video. In the video, Evans can be seen in a nasty catfight with supposed friends Britany Truett andBrittany Maggard. Evans later claimed the fight was a total setup and that Maggard sold the tape to the press for thousands of dollars. Maggard told TMZ.com that Evans was in on the deal and received a cut of the money from selling the video.
In April, Evans was given 12 months of probation and community service after taking a plea on an unrelated drug paraphernalia possession charge.
