Twilight: Breaking Dawn Release Date Announced

Get ready Twilight fans! The official Breaking Dawn release date has been announced. The fourth installment of the Twilight Saga is set to hit theaters on November 18, 2011. Fans will still have to wait a while, however, to find out if Breaking Dawn will end up split into two films.

We still don’t know if Twilight: Breaking Dawn will eventually be split into two movies, like Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, but it’s likely we’ll probably learn that info before much longer. Meanwhile, Twilight fans can go ahead and mark Nov. 18, 2011 on their calendars as the official Breaking Dawn release date.

We are especially curious about how the book conversion for the final installment of the Twilight series will turn out on film for Breaking Dawn. Unlike previous Twilight movies, author Stephenie Meyer will actually be hands-on as a producer for Breaking Dawn. Plus, we’re hoping for very good things out of Oscar-winning director Bill Condon.

Speaking of Meyer, the Twilight author gifted Breaking Dawn actors with a special treat to help them immerse themselves more fully into their characters – advance copies of the new Twilight novella The Brief Second Life of Bree Tanner! For the rest of us, we’ll have to buy our copies or wait to read it free on Meyer’s website June 5th.

New Twilight: Eclipse Photo – Bella and Edward in Bed!

We admit, this is completely gratuitous. Still, we couldn’t help but share the newest Twilight: Eclipse still photo released for fans to droll over. Especially since this one features our favorite shiny vampire Edward Cullen in bed!

In the new Twilight: Eclipse photo still, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart cozy up together for a serious dramatic talk about why Edward doesn’t want Bella to become a vampire.

The new still photo comes from the scene in the movie’s first trailer where Edward tells Bella he knows “the consequences of the choice you’re making” when she asks why he is against her becoming a vampire. “After a few decades, everyone you know will be dead,” Edward says in his oh-so-sexy voice.

It won’t be very much longer now Twilight fans! But June 30th just can’t come fast enough for us!

‘New Moon’ Star Robert Pattinson on ‘Today’ and ‘Regis & Kelly’

Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson has been making the rounds on talk shows galore to promote the premiere of New Moon. Pattinson appeared on both the Today Show and Live with Regis and Kelly on Thursday to talk about the Twilight sequel and his own sudden fame.

In his apperance on the Today Show, Robert Pattinson joked about the massive amount of tabloid rumors he is constantly trying to fight off. Talking to Matt Lauer, Pattinson joked that apparently he’s been dating “literally nonstop” and humorously said, “I actually come up with these rumors about myself.”

When asked on Regis & Kelly what he thought girls find so alluring about vampires, the drama or the biting, Pattinson replied: “Yes. Just the biting.”

Miley Cyrus Bashes ‘Twilight’ – Won’t Be Seeing ‘New Moon’

Miley Cyrus apparently is no fan of the Twilight franchise and has no plans on ever seeing the original film or the sequel, New Moon. In an interview with Q92 radio, Cyrus said she doesn’t “want anything to do” with the Twilight madness that has overtaken the country.

When asked if she was on Team Edward or Team Jacob, Miley Cyrus responded in the radio interview that she’s never seen Twilight and never will. “It’s a cult. I don’t believe in it,” Cyrus opined. “I don’t like vampires, I don’t like any of that stuff.”

Cyrus even seemingly complained about the commercials for New Moon airing in endless repeat on television leading up to the premiere. “I don’t like the wolf that pops out of the screen when I’m watching TV at night, I don’t want anything to do with it.”

Well, at least Cyrus admits she is kind of a pansy for her dislike of all things Twilight. “I feel really lame because everyone’s, like, so excited,” Cyrus said. “I’m like, ‘Don’t even talk about it.'”

Awh, Miley, did you have dreams they might pick you to be Bella and were terribly pissed when you never got the call? Or do you honestly not get that at least half your fans are probably die-hard Twilight groupies and you’ve just basically called them losers?

Johnny Depp Beats Out Robert Pattinson as Sexiest Man Alive

Johnny Depp has taken People‘s sexiest man alive title for the second time in a decade, beating out Twilight hottie Robert Pattinson for the honor. People said the magazine pondered giving the award to New Moon star Robert Pattinson, but felt Johnny Depp’s longevity as a heartthrob lent the actor more weight.

“The thing about Johnny is he has proven his sexiness over the years,” People editor Julie Jordan told Today‘s Natalie Morales. Jordan said Depp was the only actor who “can pull of the sexiness behind such bizarre characters as Willie Wonka and the Mad Hatter.”

Johnny Depp joins Brad Pitt and George Clooney as the only other two-time winner of People’s sexiest man alive title. Depp recently signed on to star in a fourth Pirates of the Caribbean film, reprising his role as the flamboyant Captain Jack Sparrow.

Congrats Johnny! We love our RPatz, but you’ve been the object of many tasty fantasies way longer!
