The Walking Dead season 3 premieres tonight on AMC at 9PM ET and the preview videos we’ve seen for the new episodes gives us wild hope this season is going to rock. The Walking Dead premiere for season 3 is a throwback to the early days of the show when fast-paced action, nasty gore and over-the-top violence was the name of the game. Sometimes you just have to go back to the beginning to recapture the glory of what made a show great to begin with.
Last season got a bit dreary and overly cerebral around mid-season, but started to pick up again toward the end. The Walking Dead season 3 premiere video preview seems to show us more of the action-packed awesomeness we know and love, and less of the overly conceptual dialogue and moralistic ‘lessons’ that bogged things down last season.
All our favorite characters are back tonight in The Walking Dead season 3 premiere with Rick, Maggie, Daryl, Lori, T-Dog, Carl and more out to blow the hell out of some zombies and make the world a safe place for the living. The show creators have listened to the complaints about the slow pace of last season and have given us a The Walking Dead season premiere with far less talk and more action. Hell yeah!
